O, Discordia!!

Finished reading "Song of Susannah", book 6 of The Dark Tower series on Saturday night. Well. All I have to say is, this book literally drove me to drink. Threw back a couple of rum and cokes Friday night to help me deal. And I swear I was close to tears. I'm not saying it's a *bad* book per se. It's just that I felt Stephen King was giving me the finger, which is not what I counted on after almost 15 years (half my fricking life!!) of waiting for this series to be completed. Those who don't read the series won't care, those who've finished probably understand what I mean, those yet to finish have been duly warned. Am now on the last book, we'll see whether or not I'll feel the need to get blasted when I'm done in a couple of days.
