I feel like shit.

I had a glucose tolerance test today, it made me feel icky and even sleepier than I already was (had to haul my ass to UMDNJ in Newark for the 2nd time this week, whee).  The nurse brutalized my arms trying to get blood samples (thankfully she succeeded before having to whip out the butterfly).  I have a fever now.  I have been feeling crappy all day, both physically and emotionally.  There's crap for my class tomorrow I didn't get to do.  Oh well.  Could be worse.

The woman who took my blood on Wed is LIKE BUTTER! She's usually the one who takes my blood when I go there, I seriously needed her today :(. I know I have deep veins, but SHIT.

If you have problematic veins, ask for a tech from the peds department. They're usually better about being gentle than other techs are.
