Absolutely awful.

Seriously. I don't know how he continues to get financial backing for his flicks any more. I'm betting he has dirt on some Hollywood bigwig :P.

I can't even stomach to watch any marketing or writing or reviews of this movie. Probably the only M Knight Shamalamadingdang movie I won't buy or even see. I usually rather like his kitchyness but not this time.

He lost me after I saw "Signs".

I've been planning on seeing this movie since the (admittedly somewhat lame) commercials started. I really, really want to like this movie.

I think my best bet is to keep the money.

Man, sounds like it sucks even worse than his last one.

He's been going downhill for some time. They need to stop letting him write screenplays and have them produced. I'm sure he could be trusted to direct with a quality script.

That was the best/funniest review ever, especially for a such an apparently crappy movie. I guess I better get the chain saw oiled up, just in case.

i feel sad for him; i heard him on science friday and he sounded so enthused about this movie (night, that is, not ira flato, who asked night, "when your publicist contacted me to say you wanted to be on my show, i asked him if you did know that this show is about science, right?" (note i suck at direct quoting people). they talked about the movie for a half hour and ira struggled to eke out some "science" aspects of it. night sounded like he really does believe that he made an awesome environmental movie. i haven't seen it yet, and was planning to before i heard it was about suicide. not sure i want to watch that; not sure how it would make me feel. bummer, cause i was looking forward to seeing it with my daughter g, who's visiting and is a huge night fan (we're renting a bunch of his films and having a nightfest sunday). i haven't seen litw yet; g warned me it's more like a fairy tale and not really scary.

anyway, anyone want to make a scary movie?

Aww, man, now I feel bad for him too :(. Poor bastid.

He's a bright and personable guy, and very talented. But I dunno, his scripts have really gone into the toilet. I'm wondering if he's surrounded by too many yes-men kissing his butt?
