Jan. 22nd, 2007 04:59 amDue to me falling asleep on the couch last night while
fings decided to watch "The Mummy" (ok, the fact that I was comfortably tucked under some cozy blankets with my feet up on the ottoman was a definite contributing factor), I have been awake since 4am. I was experiencing some truly annoying high-level insomnia at the end of last week and that sucked total ass, but I'm feeling fine now, just very awake and wondering if it will be worth it to tey and go back to sleep for a couple of hours.
And no, I don't care for "The Mummy", though it's better than sequel, but is that saying much?
I am now reading one of the books I got for Christmas, "Stiff: The Curious Lives of Human Cadavers" by Mary Roach. I had been lusting after this book for some time and I'm enjoying it very much. Much needed cleasing of my book-reading palate. I finished "The Good Nanny" by Benjamin Cheever before I fell asleep some hours back, I made sure to toss it across the room cause it annoyed the hell out me so much, what crap! *Sigh*, truly it has been few books over the years that incite me to hurling them across a damn room.
Oh, yeah, I am way behind on posting about the books I've been reading. Need to correct that.
I am also way behind on reading my LJ friends page, so that's why I have been intermittantly been responding to things people posted a couple of weeks ago. Ooops.
There's also a bunch of stuff I've been meaning to post about. Ooops.
Friday was very much a hide-under-a-blanket day! Many thanks to all who expressed concern, it was greatly appreciated. Was feeling much better by Saturday.
