I would so watch The View if it was Baba Wawa, Whoopi, and Joy chilling out. Elizabeth is a turd, and this Sherri chick is useless.

Lisa watches it regularly and gets so angry at Hasselbeck. The problem is that she isn't a conservative counterpoint to their more liberal participants. She is a talking head for the Bushies - she refuses to ever admit anything they do is wrong. The other women would have no problem criticizing the Democrats, but she refuses to criticize the Republicans.

I also have to admit that I'm shocked Whoopi is as good as she is. I though she'd be horrible, but she and Barbara provide the most calm, nonpartisan speaking points on the show.

Yeah, if they had a conservative on the show who didn't come off as an utter dipweed, who could intelligently defend her opinions/points, that would be great. I can respectfully disagree with someone's politics if they come off as informed and reasonable, you know? She just flaps her mouth and kissing bootie and doesn't have anything intelligent to add. Fuck that, why are they paying her to be on that show, surely the could dig someone up better than that.

I love Whoopi, and I didn't realize she was on this show until fairly recently, but I coulda told she'd be awesome ;).

There's a rumor that Elizabeth is going to be fired. I think she's gone too far overboard and pissed people (specifically Barbara) off too much. I just hope they wait till after the election so that it doesn't come off as "liberal media bias".

Life is grand. I mean, it's tough physically and mentally and the state of the economy (worldwide and in my own accounts) stresses me out. But on the other hand I look forward to every minute I spend with my family. Can't really ask for more than that. Hopefully I'll get time to post more photos soon!
