Just got back from seeing a private advance screening of the Sweeney Todd movie. My friend Chris and I got to sing like loud & obnoxious assholes along with the movie, we were the only ones in the theatre---it was heaven! We LOVED the movie. I do have a complaint that knocks the movie from the 10 it could have been (for me) and the 9 that I'm giving it. Seriously, *WTF* dudes, no "Ballad of Sweeney Todd"?!?!??!! The end of the movie was the perfect way to use the song, even if you abandoned the whole business of using the chorus. And it would have made the very ending seem less abrupt. Still, there was too so much done right, I'm basically a pretty happy chick. There was one scene where I had tears in my eye, dammit! OK, it's way to fucking late, goodnight y'all!
