An hearty and robust FUCK YOU to all the assholes who voted against the civil rights of same-sex couples in AZ, CA, and FL. Oh, yes, and you assholes down in Arkansas who just voted against homosexuals fostering/adopting? FUCK YOU. Fucking SHAME on each and every one of you. I wish I could be more articulate than that right now, but I am too bitterly disappointed and disgusted by these fellow Americans of mine.

As the straightest and most vanilla woman in the world I still don't get it. How does what other people do affect me or my marriage exactly? Unless they're hitting on my hubby I could care less WHAT they are doing and WHO they are doing it with. Also, I don't care HOW they are doing it or how MANY people they are doing it with as long as - and this is key - I don't have to HEAR about it. Gay, straight, kinky, poly I don't care, but that shit is PRIVATE and I shouldn't have to know all the gristly details. Sure I'm hung up about sex - but at least I'm hung up about everyone's sex. I'm an equal opportunity ostrich.

LOL, I'm with you, I don't want to know anyone else grisly details, either, haha. But yeah, I do not get it. My BFF and his partner have been together for over 7 years and living together for 6 1/2. Why can't they get married? How will that negatively impact my marriage, of the marriage of straight people anywhere? Ugh. They are considering getting a civil union since they are here in NJ. But it's not enough.
I'm praying that by the time my Kiddo is an adult, s/he'll be as confused as all get out that this was ever the case.
