Well, it will allow Lynn Johnson to include yet another kind of modern family in her strip: we haven't yet seen a "blended family" have we?

Maybe Anthony will have some redeeming characteristics once we get to know him (a) out of high school, and (b) out of that dreadful marriage.

(Did Therese get pregnant on purpose to marry him? I can't remember.)

No, Therese didn't even want to have kids. He begged her in order to have the one.

And Anthony told Elizabeth that he wished that they had never broken up -- *at* his engagement party. Then he kept mooning over Elizabeth at his wedding.

Yeah, the whole Elizabeth-Anthony situation is one of the most heavy-handed story lines that Johnston has ever presented.

I suppose there's no chance that she'll fool us all and have Elizabeth hook up with Candace? ;)

Honestly, what I would love to see is Elizabeth just deciding to stay single for a bit; she's got some growing up to do. But nope! Lynn Johnston is going to marry her off to Anthony Pornstachio! Bleah!!

And Therese told him that he'd raise the kid and she'd return to her career after the baby was born...of course he was sore about that...

Of course when the breakup came it was because Therese was AN EVIL STINKING BITCH who sacrificed babies to Satan and then drank their blood...which every character who crosses or hurts the Perfect Pattersons or one of their chosen like Granthony turns out to be..
