Blatherings of an Extroverted Bookworm

Go check out Palin as President. The site has been updated. Before it gave me good lulz. Now it has me crying all over again.

God Bless our President-Elect Barack Obama. I do not expect him to be a perfect president, but I believe strongly that he is the right man at the right time. I believe he will accomplish great things for this nation of ours. I have hope for this country in a way that I have not had in many years. I cannot put into words the the feeling that I have, that my baby will be born into a time where our country will hopefully be planting the seeds for a better tomorrow. I've been so vitriolic against McCain/Palin because the thought of my child coming into this world with those divisive warmongering assholes in charge was making me sick to my stomach. I was losing sleep over that shit. I'm sure there are many who would think me an optimistic fool. I don't give a flying fuck. I am filled with hope, and it is a beautiful thing.

OMG, really good Indian food has magical restorative powers for the weary soul and hormone-crazed body! Or at least, it just worked for me!

After feeling like a big pile of poop for 2 days, I've rejoined the human race, huzzah! Ate some dinner, took a shower and am watching "Angel". Life, it's looking good again.

OK, so I got some sleep and ate some food and am no longer feeling rageful. Perhaps a certain amount of emotional exhaustion, but that's nothing new I suppose. It's my own damn fault anyway. I inherited much of my father's temperment; I'll get in emotional tizzies the way he does and do stupid things like actually care about the asshat things others do, meanwhile the people in our family blithely do whatever the hell they want without giving a damn about anyone else (or at least, that's how it damn well seems 90% of the time). Thank goodness the other people in my life aren't like that....and hence do not have to be on the receiving end of the Wrath of Yolen, yargh!! Hahaha.
